Is Black Coffee Good For Weight Loss?

​In 2005 the Vanderbilt University’s Health Psychology Department came to the conclusion that caffeine could well have a boosting effect on weight loss.

The study was conducted by having the participants lose between 5% and 9% of their body weight, and then taking a daily 150mg dose of caffeine.

There was your typical control group and a group fed with placebos and the results seemed to indicate that coffee can boost your metabolism from anywhere between 3% to 11%.
